Kevin Troxel

Kevin grew up off a navel base in California just south of Fresno. Growing up in a military town, in a rural area, the two jobs for his future were few. Tattoos were becoming popular in the late 80’s and being from there at that time, it’s no wonder where Kevins interest for tattooing started there at such a young age. Trying to get someone to teach him to tattoo was a lot harder then as well. Kevin was told no by a lot of professionals in his hometown area when he was younger. That is until he met his first teacher. In 1996, Kevin began his first apprenticeship with Karalani Goddard hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii. Starting his tattoo career off in 1997. Kevin has worked his whole life since then tattooing. Kevin enjoys creating tattoos but also comes from an era where flash is king. Kevin does really well with color tattoos but his first love is tribal art.
